An interesting transfer exclusive from CaughtOffside today puts Chelsea on the list of teams who are looking at young Scottish talent Robbie Ure.
The Rangers academy graduate left Scotland to play in Sweden (via Belgium), and he’s had an amazing impact there. He’s bagged an amazing 31 goals in 49 matches for IK Sirius.
That kind of goalscoring for a 22 year old is always going to attract the attentions of bigger teams, and it seems like Chelsea are among them.
Ure lined up by half of Europe after goalscoring spree

The report says that the likes of Arsenal, Man city, Tottenham, AC Milan and Napoli are already looking at Ure, who would cost a relatively modest fee.
Frankly, we see Ure more as a signing for Strasbourg than Chelsea. We’ve already got more strikers than we know what to do with, and we can’t see the Blues adding more this summer.
Strasbourg, on the other hand, have lost Emmanuel Emegha and have their star man Joaquin Panichelli recovering from a cruciate ligament injury. They could use another option in forward areas – if he continues to score at a ridiculous rate, Chelsea could then take another look at him.
In other news…
Chelsea have had a series of successes in the transfer market this summer, but have missed out on one target they really liked – Kerim Alajbegovic has gone to Juventus.
Josh Acheampong’s future is a big question now for Chelsea as the club stock up with even more central defenders. He needs a plan and a pathway.
