Tonight on TNA Impact, we continue with the TNA Knockouts TV Championship tournament, and we kick it off with M By Elegance and Rosemary.
One-half of the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, Rosemary, makes sure the former champion suffers during the beginning of the match. As usual, The Elegance Brand gets involved as they trip up Rosemary. Rosemary manages to trap M with the Upside Down and heads to the top rope only to meet a Big Boot by M.
Allie looks to play the same games as The Elegance Brand and trips up M. M spills towards the apron and eats a hard clothesline. Rosemary becomes preoccupied with the blind personal concierge, but during this, M takes a sip of champagne. Heather By Elegance gets the attention of the referee, but is stopped by Allie. However, it’s too late as M spits the champagne in Rosemary’s eyes and gets the pin to advance.
Elayna Black is backstage and says that she’s facing NXT’s Wendy Choo in the first round of the Knockouts TV title tournament. She reminds us that she’s here to win gold and that she is the “Greatest Knockout in TNA History.” The TNA Knockouts World Champion, Xia Brookside, heard every single word and warns her to worry about Choo next week and stay in line.
Due to some recent shortcomings within Order 4, Mustafa Ali enlists the help of Mila Moore. Moore stands with Ali as the new Secretary of Strategic Affairs, but Tasha Steelz does not seem impressed one bit.
Next up in the Knockouts TV title tournament, Harley Hudson takes on NXT’s Thea Hail.
Both start the match shaking hands and are both quick on their feet. Hudson catches Hail in the corner, and Hail meets the canvas face-first, only for a two count.
Hudson starts getting scrappy and hits Hail with a hard clothesline. Hail tries to come back with a backslide, and both start trading blows. Hudson escapes an underhook attempt by Hail, but Hudson lands Hail’s head right onto her knee to only get a two-count.
The pace gets intense as Hail hits a Senton right onto the canvas. Hail gets propped up on the ropes, but Hudson also whiffs on the leg drop. Hail finds her spot and hits her finish to advance in the tournament.
