William Hill News tipster @Footy_Tipster previews Saturday’s 2026 World Cup Quarter-Final game between Norway and England.

Our Prediction: Both Teams To Score & England To Win (5/2), Norway 2-3 England (20/1)

Saturday serves up a mouth‑watering World Cup quarter‑final between Norway and England, with the Miami Stadium the stage for this highly anticipated clash.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some World Cup odds and betting angles for Saturday’s fixture:

    Norway v England – Saturday, 10pm

View all available markets at William Hill

    • This World Cup will go down in history for Norway. Not only did they get the better of five‑time winners Brazil, but they’ve now secured a quarter‑final spot at a major tournament for the first time ever — with huge thanks to Erling Haaland, who now has seven goals to his name.
    • Ståle Solbakken’s men have lost just two of their last twenty‑one matches in all competitions (W16, D3), a run that highlights their growing maturity, resilience and belief. They’ll also be hoping to channel the spirit of their 1993 meeting with England, a 2‑0 win that remains their only victory in the last six clashes between the nations.
    • That said, the two sides haven’t met since 2014, and this is a completely different Norway outfit — younger, sharper, and far more dangerous. Punters can back the Norwegians at 3/1 with William Hill to win the match, or 13/8 to progress to the semi‑finals by any method.

    • England spent much of this World Cup under heavy criticism for below‑par performances, but they showed real fight and determination in their round‑of‑16 clash with Mexico at the iconic Azteca Stadium. A 3-2 victory, earned with ten men, has been hailed by many fans as their most impressive World Cup win since the 1966 final.
    • That performance felt like a genuine turning point — a moment that could convince this England side they really can go all the way. But discipline will be crucial. Five of England’s last six World Cup knockout games against European opposition have ended in defeat, a trend they must avoid repeating on Saturday.
    • Supporters will be hoping Thomas Tuchel can finally end the 60‑year wait for a major trophy. England are now just three wins away from doing exactly that, but this Norway side will pose serious problems. The Three Lions are 17/20 with William Hill to win the match and keep their World Cup dream alive.

    Bet Builder Hub:

    • Player To Score – Erling Haaland – Erling Haaland has scored seven goals so far in this tournament for Norway.
    • Player To Score – Harry Kane – Harry Kane is England’s main man, he’s scored six goals so far for the Three Lions.
    • Team with most Corners – England – Four of England’s five World Cup games have seen them produce the most corners.

Agree with our tips? Combine them in a Bet Builder at 11/2 with William Hill.

    8. The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
