Brazil were eliminated by Norway from the World Cup on Sunday night, with a desperate lack of attacking quality shown by Carlo Ancelotti’s team in the end.
It highlighted once again the crazy decision to not take Joao Pedro to the tournament, as well as how brutally the injury to Estevao affected them. Chelsea legend Eden Hazard had some recent quotes on what’s going on at his old club which highlight his high hopes for Estevao and others.
Hazard on Palmer and Estevao

“Of course I watch Chelsea, and Cole Palmer is a player I really enjoy watching. I hope he can win trophies with the Blues,” Hazard said in quotes picked up by Football.London.
“Estevao is still young, so you have to give him time. His first season was pretty good. He’s from Brazil too, so he has that natural quality on the ball – he can bring flair and pace.
“I like him. It’s a shame he couldn’t take part in the World Cup, it’s sad for him, but I hope he comes back even stronger.”
Like Eden, we’re all just praying Estevao comes back to action without missing a step.
