William Hill News tipster @Footy_Tipster previews Tuesday’s 2026 World Cup game between USA and Belgium.

Our Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Over 2.5 Goals (21/20), USA 2-3 Belgium (22/1)

The Seattle Stadium will be bouncing as the USA look to book their first World Cup quarter‑final spot since 2002, with Belgium standing in their way in this high‑stakes round‑of‑16 showdown.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some World Cup odds and betting angles for Tuesday’s fixture:

    USA v Belgium – Tuesday, 1am

View all available markets at William Hill

    • A comfortable 2-0 victory over Bosnia in the round of 32 has moved the USA closer to reaching their first World Cup quarter‑final in 24 years. This is the seventh time the USMNT have reached the last sixteen, but five defeats from six at this stage will undoubtedly concern Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
    • Folarin Balogun has been a major threat throughout the tournament, but after his harsh red card against Bosnia, Pochettino will need others to step up. There’s still plenty of optimism, though — the USA have scored at least two goals in all four of their World Cup matches so far.
    • They head into this clash as slight underdogs, and we could be in for more goalmouth action. Eight of their last eleven games have produced three or more goals, pointing towards another lively contest. Punters can back the USA at 17/10 with William Hill to win inside ninety minutes.

    • Belgium really are making life difficult for themselves. After squeezing through the group stage on the final matchday, they found themselves 2-0 down against Senegal in the round of 32 with just five minutes left to play. Two late goals out of nowhere dragged the tie into extra‑time, before a controversial 125th‑minute penalty secured their first World Cup round‑of‑16 appearance since 2018.
    • It felt at times as though Rudi Garcia was ready to take his players down with him, hauling off Jérémy Doku and Kevin De Bruyne to their clear frustration — but ultimately, the changes proved correct. Still, this Belgian side doesn’t feel anywhere near as connected or cohesive as previous generations.
    • These sides met in March here in the USA, with Belgium running out 5-2 winners — albeit in a friendly. Even so, that result should give the Red Devils some encouragement that they can navigate this tie. Belgium are 6/4 with William Hill to win inside ninety minutes.
