Fans were left thrilled this afternoon as Luton announce the signing of Kasey Palmer on a permanent deal and unveil their new away kit too.
The 29 year old midfielder returns to Kenilworth Road having had a successful loan spell during the second half of the 2025/26 season.
He scored 8 times and made 23 appearances, helping the Hatters finish 7th in League One, with 74 points from 46 games, missing out on the playoffs by one point.
Palmer has also played for Coventry, Swansea, Bristol City, Blackburn, Derby and Huddersfield, was at Charlton and Chelsea during his youth career, and his international has seen him make 23 appearances for Jamaica since 2021, scoring twice.

Manager Jack Wilshere said, as per the club website: “They say never fall in love with a loan player, but Kasey knew exactly what we all felt about him and how much we wanted him back as a permanent Luton Town player. Along with Jordan Clark and Liam Walsh’s new contracts, this signing was my priority for the summer.
“Kasey was integral to how we played in the second half of the season and the run we went on, winning at Wembley and getting so close to the play-offs. He’s someone who produces magic moments and gets people off their seats, but for all his experience he also knows that he can still learn and improve himself.
“I know this is going to excite the fans, who love Kasey as much as we all do. We’ve beaten a lot of clubs to get him and it’s important that he’s here for a full pre-season, so we can start as we mean to go on. We can’t wait to get going again in full flow from Monday and are all so glad to have him back.”
Speaking after finalising his move following a family holiday, with his three children as always by his side at The Brache, Kasey said: “I’m so happy to be back, although as everyone has seen from my socials, I’ve never really been away!
“I loved every minute of my time here last season. The manager, staff, players and fans were unbelievable with me and I felt so welcomed into the Luton Town family. The club has become such a big part of my family, too.
“They have sacrificed and moved all around the country with me over the last ten years, and I’ve had to live away from them for the last couple, but now it’s my turn to move home to be with them.
“My kids love coming to the Kenny, it’s a special place when everyone is together and I can’t wait to feel that again this season.
“We had some great moments in the last few months, not least lifting the Trophy at Wembley. We’ve won something together and while we were all gutted to miss out on the play-offs, we’re all determined to put it right this season and achieve things together again.”
Kasey Palmer is back for good!

On the new kit, luton said in a statement:
Kasey Palmer is not the only good thing to return to Kenilworth Road for next season as our white away colours make a comeback in 2026/27.
Featuring a V-neck collar that has shades of iconic late 1980s success, the traditional white shirt also includes a distinctive striped jacquard weaved into the stitching.
Lovingly created by our friends at Reflo, Hatters fans won’t have long to wait to wear it themselves.
The 2026/27 away kit is set to be available earlier than last season and in time to buy before travelling to Spain for the pre-season friendly in Murcia.
Full on-sale details will be confirmed next week.
We’re also delighted to confirm the continuation of our principal partnerships with Capital Sky, Switchshop and KDW Financial Planning, alongside the return of Star Platforms, with all four committing to new multi-year Principal Partner agreements.
We’ll be sharing more details on each partnership in due course.
Kasey Palmer has joined Luton Town for an undisclosed fee.

Fans gave a thrilled reaction as Luton sign Kasey Palmer on a permanent deal and unveil their new away kit…
With the confirmed signing of Kasey Palmer this is Luton’s current squad for the upcoming season.
I make it at 21 players likely to be involved in the 26/27 season. Striker the biggest need Wells is a decent option but shouldn’t be 1st choice this season. #LTFC #COYH pic.twitter.com/AqJcwM7VKu
