TNA Wrestling and WWE’s partnership has been a major topic since May of last year, especially after Jordynne Grace appeared on WWE NXT. Fans have been speculating whether The Hardys would return to WWE through this collaboration. In fact, Matt Hardy has now hinted that he and Jeff Hardy could show up on WWE television while holding the TNA Tag Team Titles.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Matt Hardy made it clear that he is open to the idea of him and Jeff Hardy showing up in WWE and feels good about that idea. He said working with TNA is great because they understand that he and Jeff still care about WWE and want to be in the Hall of Fame one day.
They recently filmed something for WWE, and it should be released soon. He also mentioned that the Dudley Boyz did the same thing a day before them, and their footage is already out. Since TNA and WWE have a good relationship, he believes there’s a chance they could appear on a WWE show as TNA champions if the right moment comes.
“I feel good about that. That’s one of the great things about working in TNA now. They know that we do have a lot of love for WWE and that we would like to do the Hall of Fame. We filmed some content for WWE that’ll probably be dropping pretty soon. I saw the Dudleys did it the day before us, and I know theirs just dropped recently. We have a good working relationship with them and I think the perfect storm arose. I think you could see us pop up even as TNA champs on some WWE show at some point, who knows?”
Matt Hardy already made it clear that he and Jeff Hardy want to end their careers in WWE and they even have a first-time-ever match in mind in WWE. Fans would love to see them return, so we will have to wait and see if they make their way back to WWE this year as the TNA Tag Team Champions.
