2K has released the WWE 2K26 Patch 1.04 for early access players.
While the WWE 2K26 Standard Edition will launch on Friday, March 13, 2026, the Attitude Era, King of Kings, and Monday Night War Editions were released via early access on March 6. The developers introduced the Ringside Pass, a battle-pass system that replaces traditional DLC for post-launch content. Six Ringside Pass seasons will roll out throughout the year, with four additional playable wrestlers available in each season as unlockables through the premium tracks.
After monitoring early access players, the developers noted that the WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass experience had not met expectations. Since it’s a new feature, they said it would require time and attention to perfect the Ringside Pass and implemented some changes through Patch 1.04.
The changes include:
- Custom Matches will now award RXP
- RXP earn rates for matches increased by 20%
- Match Complete: 25 (current) > 30
- Match Win Bonus: 85 (current) > 105
- Minimum match time requirement added for Match Win RXP rewards
- If a match is completed faster than 60 seconds, players will receive completion RXP, but not additional win bonuses. We know you’re enjoying making Eric Bischoff tap out but let’s give poor “Eazy E” a breather.
The patch aims to support a wider variety of match types and playstyles, enhancing the overall gameplay experience. Early access players also get a thank-you gift via the locker code MZFGCPCR for 32,500 virtual currency. They can redeem it in-game by 9 AM PT on March 12.
While these new WWE 2K26 updates go live on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Steam on March 11, they will be available for Nintendo Switch 2 on March 30.
