TNA Rebellion comes to you live tonight from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland.
Cleveland’s own Nic Nemeth goes one-on-one with AJ Francis. Legendary NFL quarterback Bernie Kosar will be in Nemeth’s corner as he looks to exact revenge on Francis for putting him on the shelf.
The Knockouts World Championship is on the line as Arianna Grace defends against former champion Lei Ying Lee.
Elsewhere, X Division Champion Leon Slater runs it back with Cedric Alexander. Cedric’s System cohorts, Bear Bronson and Brian Myers, will challenge the legendary Hardys for the tag team titles.
Finally, TNA World Champion Mike Santana heads into Rebellion looking to silence Eddie Edwards after things turned personal this past Thursday on iMPACT.
The pre-show kicks off at 7pm EST with a match featuring Ryan Nemeth taking on the upstart BDE.

Countdown to TNA Rebellion
Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcome us to the pre-show. The commentary team then introduces TNA Director of Authority Daria Rae to the panel. Rae takes credit for putting together the card. This writer thinks she’s brilliant in her role as the egotistical and maniacal authority figure.
Anyways, our first preview of the night is the multi-Knockouts match featuring The Elegance Brand and the team of Mickie James, ODB, and Teryn Terrell. Tom Hannifan informs us that the match is a Hardcore Country/Falls Count Anywhere match.
Hannifan and Rehwoldt question Daria Rae about the controversial suspensions of Santino Marella and Indi Hartwell. Rae claims Marella was suspended by the TNA “board” for acting out of emotion.
Just in: Leon Slater vs. Cedric Alexander for the TNA X Division Championship will kick off the TNA Rebellion main show at 8 PM EST.
Hannifan takes a subtle shot at WWE, telling Daria, “We don’t have superstars, we have wrestlers.”
The System hijacks Rebellion pre-show
Daria Rae brings out The System. Brian Myers tells the crowd to take a screenshot of their tickets because it’s the last time they’ll see The Hardys as TNA World Tag Team Champions. Bear Bronson says there will be nothing left of Matt and Jeff but memories. Cedric Alexander claims TNA Rebellion will kick off with a brand-new TNA X Division Champion, “Prime Alexander.” Eddie Edwards tells fans not to miss the moment Mike Santana learns that “you can’t beat The System.”
Ryan Nemeth vs. BDE
Ryan Nemeth is in the ring for his match against BDE. Nemeth tells the crowd to welcome his parents, who are seated ringside. He takes a shot at his dad for picking big brother Nic over him. While his dad attended Nic’s events, their mom allegedly loved Ryan more and attended his “recitals and movie premieres.”
Nemeth says their father raised them to be Cleveland Browns fans, just like everyone else in Cleveland. He then pulls the ultimate heel move and turns his back on the Browns. In doing so, Nemeth takes off his pants to reveal trunks featuring Pittsburgh Steelers merchandise.
Nemeth then asks announcer McKenzie Mitchell what she’s still doing in the ring. He calls her out for marrying someone from Cleveland, which is Vic Joseph for those who don’t know. Nemeth then introduces his opponent for the night, BDE.
The finish of the match saw Ryan Nemeth plant BDE with the Big Hollywood Ending for the win.
Free merch for Cleveland
Tom Hannifan introduces Home Town Man. HTM has some free merch for the fans in attendance. He gets in the ring and starts giving away one-night-only TNA Rebellion shirts. Home Town Man then shows off some “Walk With Elijah” merch up for grabs.
Boo, Carlos Silva
TNA President Carlos Silva joins the TNA Countdown to Rebellion panel. The crowd is clearly unhappy and voices its disapproval by booing the TNA executive. This writer wonders what the reason might be. Perhaps it has something to do with all the reports of Silva pulling TNA talent from appearing at indie shows featuring AEW stars.
Eric Young isn’t happy about EC3’s return
The panel brings up EC3’s upcoming return to TNA. Silva briefly touches on EC3’s history with TNA. Eric Young interrupts the discussion and talks about putting Ricky Sosa in a hospital bed somewhere in Europe following an attack this past Thursday on iMPACT. He then directs his attention to EC3, teasing a confrontation on the TNA Rebellion main show.
Mike Santana gets compared to WWE legend
Daria Rae asks Ace Steel if Mike Santana and Eddie Edwards remind him of past legends. Ace brings up Santana’s Puerto Rican heritage and compares his drive and fire to the late, great Eddie Guerrero. As for Edwards, Ace says he doesn’t see a comparison with anyone, because Edwards’ body of work is incomparable. Ace gives Edwards his flowers and recalls that he beat Bobby Lashley when he was much younger. The Edwards going into Rebellion is a much more formidable version of the man who defeated Lashley. Hannifan then thanks fans for tuning in to the pre-show as the TNA Rebellion main show is about to begin.
TNA Rebellion Results
Leon Slater (c) vs. Cedric Alexander – TNA X Division Title Match
- The finish of the match saw Leon Slater hit Cedric Alexander with a Swanton 450 splash for the win.
Winner and still TNA X Division Champion: Leon Slater
Grade: A-
A brilliant start to the TNA Rebellion main show. Some fantastic showing from both men. Great awareness shown by Slater, telling Alexander to lift his other leg so he could put it on the rope for the pin break. Slater’s nod to AJ Styles with the Styles Clash was phenomenal. This writer is glad TNA kept Cedric Alexander. He’s too good between the ropes.
Mike Santana is ready to go to war!
Gia Miller is backstage with Mike Santana. The TNA World Champion is paying tribute to his roots with face paint. Santana says he went to war with a pillar of TNA in Frankie Kazarian 86 days ago. For 86 days, Santana says, he’s proudly represented TNA as its World Champion. Santana is ready to go to war again tonight. Alisha Edwards shows up and tells Santana she knows Eddie Edwards better than anyone, and there’s something Santana needs to know, leaving the TNA World Champion surprised.
Frankie Kazarian vs. Elijah
- The finish of the match saw Frankie Kazarian hit Elijah with a low blow followed by a pinfall for the win.
Winner: Frankie Kazarian
Grade: B+
Fun match. I’ve been a fan of Elijah since his Elias days. As for Kazarian, he’s an old guard of the squared circle. That said, this would’ve been better without the use of straps. I did like how Kazarian didn’t turn Elijah around for the low blow because he was occupied with the referee. He just went for the low blow anyway. A veteran through and through.
Stacks has a plan
Stacks strokes Arianna’s ego ahead of her Knockouts Title defense against Lei Ying Lee later tonight. He tells Grace he has a plan. She asks why he didn’t tell her first. They get into a little argument before Stacks whispers something into her ear. Grace is excited to learn what her fiancé has in mind as we get to the next match.
Moose vs. Special Agent 0
- The finish of the match saw Special Agent 0 plant Moose with a choke bomb for the win.
Winner: Special Agent 0
Grade: A-
I really enjoyed this battle of the two, as Matthew Rehwoldt put it, “redwoods.” Special Agent 0 showed out in his first singles outing in TNA. Moose had a rough landing with the spear spot on the outside but thankfully no one was injured. The Face of the Franchise also planted 0 with a powerbomb on the ringside steel steps. Alisha Edwards suffered the worst due to a run-in by The Great Hands. Let’s see if this alliance between Order 4 and The System influences the outcome of the title matches later tonight.
The Elegance Brand vs. Mickie James, ODB, and Taryn Terrell – Hardcore Country Match
- The finish of the match saw Ash by Elegance blind ODB with hairspray before hitting her with a DDT for the win.
Winners: The Elegance Brand
Grade: C+
I guess TNA Rebellion needed this type of chaotic entertainment after some great matches earlier tonight. From slams on lollipops to Mr. Elegance almost getting his crotch ripped by ODB, this match was messy in all sorts of ways. Even The Personal Concierge got involved in the action. He was turned into “pickle dick” and sent out of the ring.
TNA Hall of Fame 2026 inductee announced
Tommy Dreamer and Carlos Silva are at ringside. Dreamer cuts a promo on The Elegance Brand before telling them to leave the ring. Dreamer jokingly tells ODB that TNA would like to see her again, but she has to dress appropriately.
Carlos Silva then takes the mic and begins by thanking ODB for her contributions to TNA. He announces ODB as an inductee into the TNA Hall of Fame Class of 2026 at Bound For Glory.
ODB appears genuinely caught off guard by the announcement. She grabs the mic, thanks the fans and TNA for the moment, and says she’s not done yet and still has a lot of food trucks to run. She once again thanks the crowd and tells fans they’ll see her again at TNA Bound For Glory in October.
Elayna Black is checking her phone, bragging about all the money she’s made in the last 10 minutes (from her NSFW content). Black says she woke up early to travel to Cleveland to meet new people, but it ended up being a waste of her time. She says she is still enjoying free food and accommodation. Black adds that she will be coming after the TNA Knockouts World Championship, regardless of who wins between Arianna Grace and Lei Ying Lee.
AJ Francis vs. Nic Nemeth (with Bernie Kosar)
- The finish of the match saw Nic Nemeth strike AJ Francis with a chair shot to the back before hitting him with the Danger Zone for the win.
Winner: Nic Nemeth
Grade: B-
I wanted to grade this match an A-, but Bernie Kosar’s awkward involvement forced a downgrade. The spot took way too much time. As for the highlights, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Nemeth hit an avalanche Danger Zone. That should’ve ended the match right there, but they had to do the KC Navarro return and Kosar chair attack spot. Props to Francis for one heck of a performance though.
Arianna Grace (c) vs. Léi Yǐng Lee – TNA Knockouts World Title Match
- The finish of the match saw Arianna Grace deliver a knee strike to the back of Lei Ying Lee for the win.
Winner and still TNA Knockouts World Champion: Arianna Grace
Grace: C-
C- is the lowest grade in my match ranking. Having said that, this match just sucked. Sloppy in-ring action and one of the worst-executed heel turns I’ve seen since I first started covering TNA Wrestling. This was the heel turn that everybody probably saw coming but nobody needed to see, if I’m being honest. But hey, if that benefits Xia Brookside’s character, then who am I to complain.
Where’s the pop for EC3’s return?
Eric Young hijacks the PPV. Young calls out EC3. Carter’s music hits, but the crowd is dead. EC3 makes his way to the ring and makes quick work of EY. He grabs the mic and cuts a promo on Young before telling everyone he’s from Cleveland, “bitch.” Even Okada gets a bigger pop when he calls someone “bitch” on AEW TV.
Tom Hannifan announces that EC3 will compete for the first time in TNA in nine years when he takes on Eric Young this Thursday on iMPACT.
Trey Miguel (c) vs. Mustafa Ali – TNA International Title Match
- The finish of the match saw The Great Hands hit Trey Miguel with a pair of helmets before Mustafa Ali picked up the win with a 450 splash.
Winner and new TNA International Champion: Mustafa Ali
Grade: A-
This is just fantasy booking, but I would really like to see the TNA International and X Division titles merged into a single championship. Both follow the same wrestling style (fast-paced matches involving hyper-athleticism). Trey Miguel had a decent run, but I’m glad Ali has got the belt, even if it took him two years. It’s time to put on more bangers.
Why, Xia, why?
Gia Miller approaches Lei Ying Lee after the (not-so-shocking) heel turn by Xia Brookside. Miller wants to hear Lee’s thoughts, but she’s too devastated to say anything. Lee’s only response is “Why?” before she leaves Miller all by herself.
Emotional reunion at TNA Rebellion
The next part of the ongoing Rosemary vignette airs at TNA Rebellion. We see Abyss reconcile with Father James Mitchell. I won’t explain what happens in the video package, but it was quite emotional, to say the least.
The Hardys (c) vs. The System – TNA World Tag Team Title Match
- The finish of the match saw Brian Myers hit Jeff Hardy with a superkick before Bear Bronson picked up the win with a Monster Driver for the win.
Winners and new TNA World Tag Team Champions: The System
Grade: B-
The Hardys’ lengthy World Tag Team Title run comes to an end. It appears Jeff kicked out of the finish, but the referee still counted to three. I think Matt and Jeff will now move on to renew their feud with The Righteous, potentially setting up a cinematic match with Vincent and Dutch on an AMC-iMPACT special event.
Another backstage segment
Moose and Alisha Edwards reflect on the loss to Special Agent 0 earlier tonight. Moose tells Alisha she needs to go to the hospital with him. Alisha says she’s staying for the World Title main event between her husband Eddie Edwards and Mike Santana. Moose gets up and leaves the room, leaving her alone.
Mike Santana (c) vs. Eddie Edwards – TNA World Title Match
- The finish of the match saw Mike Santana hit Eddie Edwards with Spin the Block for the win.
Winner and still TNA World Champion: Mike Santana
Grade: B+
The pinfall botch and the awkward closing stretch stopped me from putting the TNA Rebellion main event over as the match of the night. That was clever of Moose to air the footage of Alisha Edwards staying loyal to The System all along. However, it appears Lish was supposed to stop the referee from counting to three but wasn’t in position to make the attempt. The referee still acted according to script, but there was no Alisha to stop her. The whole spot came off as a big mess. Also, both Edwards and Santana looked out of sync during the finish. Still, a solid main event with Santana coming out still the TNA World Champion.
Overall Grade: B-
TNA Rebellion delivered a mixed but ultimately solid show, with a few standout moments carrying the entire event. The highlights for me were the opening X Division Championship match, Moose vs. Special Agent Zero, and the International Title bout, all of which brought strong in-ring action and energy to keep the momentum going.
ODB’s Hall of Fame announcement was a genuinely cool surprise and a well-earned moment that added some heart to the night. Abyss and Father James Mitchell’s reunion in the ongoing Rosemary vignette was also extremely well done and one of the most emotionally engaging parts of the show.
On the flip side, the Knockouts World Title match was easily the worst bout of the night, failing to click both in terms of execution and storytelling. The main event itself was good, but the closing stretch felt underwhelming and slightly disjointed, which kept it from being a true show-stealer.
All in all, Rebellion had strong highs, noticeable lows, and a few creative bright spots, but couldn’t quite stick the landing to elevate it beyond a B- show.
