Tuesday 9th January

Carabao Cup

Carabao Cup semi-final action picks up on Tuesday night as Middlesbrough host Chelsea for the first of their two-legged clash to secure a spot at Wembley.

Boro will be looking to put the disappointment of being dumped out of the FA Cup by Aston Villa at the weekend, while Chelsea come into the fixture having comfortably seen off Preston North End. The second leg is to be played on 23rd January at Stamford Bridge.

Wednesday 10th January

Carabao Cup

The second of the two Carabao Cup clashes will be played on Wednesday night as Liverpool take on Fulham at Anfield in the first leg of their semi-final tie.

Both clubs tasted cup success over the weekend, with the Whites edging past Rotherham United on Friday night before Jurgen Klopp’s side defeated Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.

Friday 12th January

Premier League, Championship, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 & A-League

The Premier League will be on our TV screens on the weekend when Burnley host Luton Town in a classic relegation six-pointer, but there will also be the option to watch Harry Kane in action if that tickles your fancy – among many other options from the continent and further afield. Sky and TNT Sports have you covered, with top-flight action from France and Australia, as well as the English Championship.

Saturday 13th January

Premier League, Championship, AFCON, Serie A & Bundesliga

Saturday has a huge deal of football on offer with two Premier League clashes to watch, as well as an intriguing Championship meeting between promotion-chasing Ipswich Town and Sunderland on TV.

Newcastle and Manchester City top the bill in the Premier League, which follows a west London derby between Chelsea and Fulham, whose games keep on coming after the cup double bill.

The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations also gets underway, with hosts Ivory Coast kicking the tournament off with their clash against Guinea-Bissau.

Sunday 14th January

Premier League, AFCON, Serie A & Bundesliga

One match in particular catches the eye on Sunday afternoon as Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur will be broadcast on TV via Sky Sports Main Event, for those of you who have subscriptions.

There’s plenty else on offer, with league and AFCON action throughout the day, including a tantalising match-up between AC Milan and Roma in Serie A at San Siro.

Monday 15th January

AFCON, League One & Serie A on TV

The Africa Cup of Nations will be broadcast throughout the day on Monday with fans able to keep an eye out for some of their club’s players, such as Tottenham Hotspur’s Pape Matar Sarr in Senegal’s opener vs Gambia.

Elsewhere, high-flying Derby County will be looking to aid their promotion push in their League One clash at home to Burton Albion.
