Kevin Nash is calling out WWE in a big way and accusing the company of “elder abuse,” after claiming he was left without proper food during WrestleMania weekend.
Speaking on the April 27, 2026 episode of Kliq This, Nash didn’t just complain about the situation—he laid out exactly how his day played out, starting from the morning and explaining how a last-minute schedule change disrupted his ability to eat properly. He detailed how carefully he had planned his meals before WWE adjusted his timing, which he says ultimately left him without proper food for hours.
“People still don’t understand that, you know—I got up at 8:00. I had a protein drink with some carbohydrates. I grabbed a Muscle Milk before I got to my table. I drank that. Two hours later, I looked down and they pushed up my ride from 3:45 to 3:00. I specifically talked to someone in talent relations, saying that by cutting this 45 minutes, you’re not allowing me time to eat. So you will have food for me, because I have to eat every 3 to 4 hours. And they assured me.”
Kevin Nash then explained that if he had known that assurance wouldn’t be honored, he would have handled the situation very differently and simply refused to adjust his schedule.
“Because if he would have said—or I think if he would have balked at all—I would have just said, ‘No, keep my time where it’s at,’ because I’m quite sure that I have a minute that I have to read on a teleprompter. If I was in f****** ’96 mode and Scott and I came out of a strip joint at 5:55, I’m cool to just walk in and go right to the f*****—tell me, give me my cue to walk to the f****** podium—and just, because believe it or not, man, I can f****** read.”
As the rant continued, Nash widened his criticism beyond just the schedule, saying the entire situation felt like WWE was trying to control talent without taking care of basic needs, comparing it to being treated like prized cattle.
“They want to f****** treat you like their prize cattle, and they want to—it’s like they want to f****** tell you what to do. They want you on their time. They want you to be a good little boy, a good little soldier. I don’t play well with others. You can ask me to do anything—just don’t tell me to do something. Right? Because then you get, ‘You know what? F*** you.’”
He also pointed to how the experience affected him physically, saying it even made it difficult for him to get through his podcast afterwards. Nash then made his strongest statement yet, directly referencing his age and accusing WWE of crossing a line with how he was treated during the event, claiming it was elder abuse.
“It was a f****** yeoman job with my voice just to do the podcast last week. But when I got done with the podcast, at least I felt semi-cleansed. It’s just like, at least I got to say—at least I got to talk about how I got treated on Friday. And the people that don’t understand something as simple as that—that’s human dignity. Like, number one, man—I’ll be 67 years old in July. That’s elder abuse. To starve me like that is elder abuse, man. What the f*** ? I’m not one of the boys anymore. You know? F*** you, man. F*** you. You don’t treat me like any—and you know what? Fool me once.”
For a Hall of Fame weekend tied to one of WWE’s biggest shows of the year, Nash’s account paints a very different picture of what went on behind the scenes—and his comments make it clear this isn’t something he’s brushing off anytime soon.
