Hardcore WWE fans can go to any extent to please their favorite wrestler, and recently, US Champion Sami Zayn got a taste of it. In a fun moment during WrestleMania 42 week, Zayn met a fan who looked almost like his twin.
This happened at the WWE World event held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event runs from April 16 to April 20 and is organized with Fanatics. It has live panels with superstars, podcast shows, old WrestleMania displays, and fun fan experiences. There are also meet-and-greet sessions with big names like Stone Cold Steve Austin, CM Punk, AJ Lee, and many more.

WWE’s official WrestleMania page shared a clip on X showing Zayn meeting his lookalike. They captioned the post, “We’re seeing double.”
The fan had the same long hair, thick beard, and the same relaxed style as Zayn. The resemblance looked almost unreal. Even Zayn couldn’t stop laughing. They joked around, shook hands, checked each other’s T-shirts and posed for photos. The United Stats Champion could be heard saying, “We got the same hair and everything.”
While the lookalike moment was fun, Zayn has a big match ahead. On Night 2 of WrestleMania 42, he will defend the United States Championship against Trick Williams.
Their rivalry has been building for months. It’s a classic story of a veteran vs a rising star. Things started when Williams debuted on SmackDown in early 2026 and immediately targeted Zayn with bold comments. Zayn didn’t take it lightly and fired back.
The situation got more intense when SmackDown GM Nick Aldis told Zayn he didn’t have a WrestleMania spot but gave one to Williams. That led to a fight between them.
Zayn later got his chance on the March 27 SmackDown by answering an open challenge from Carmelo Hayes. During the match, Williams tried to interfere but accidentally hit Hayes. Zayn took advantage and won the title.
Now, with Lil Yachty backing Williams, their feud has become more unpredictable.
