The road to Stand & Deliver got wild on the March 17, 2026, episode of WWE NXT, as Tony D’Angelo made a huge impact by taking out three top stars and showing that his “Phase 2” has officially begun.
The segment started with Ricky Saints. He called himself the “real main event,” ignored his recent struggles, and even joked about tag team names while reuniting with Ethan Page. They tried to show they were back on the same page, but it was clear things weren’t fully stable between them.
Page played along at first, but things got a bit tense when they started talking about championships.
Then Joe Hendry came out and made things worse. He jumped into the conversation and slightly sided with Page. He questioned Saints’ drive and said he was just riding Page’s success, also taking shots at his skills. That pushed both men and heated things up.
Saints and Page then attacked Hendry, but the champion fought back hard. He took both of them down and stood tall, but not for long.

Tony D’Angelo suddenly rushed in and took down Hendry with a spear. He then went on to take down Page and Saints, leaving all three men laid out in the ring. D’Angelo stood tall, making a strong statement.
This was all part of his “Phase 2.” Earlier, he had already said he was done with old rivalries after Vengeance Day and now had his eyes on the NXT Championship. He told the crowd that his time away made him realize a hard truth: that he hadn’t achieved anything. That realization made him leave his old self behind and come back with a new purpose.
By attacking Hendry, Page, and Saints, D’Angelo has put himself right into the title picture, especially with Stand & Deliver getting closer.
