The way Triple H congratulated a WWE talent is a point of contention on social media.
WWE: Unreal Season 2 was released on Netflix this week. The docuseries features appearances from Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, among others. IYO SKY is profiled in Season 2, Episode 4, which follows her heading into Evolution 2025 as the Women’s World Champion against challenger Rhea Ripley. The match later turned into a triple threat after Naomi entered to cash in her Money in the Bank contract.
Documentary cameras caught up with IYO SKY after she dropped the Women’s World Title to Naomi in the Evolution main event. Despite the loss, IYO was congratulated by Triple H as she made her way through the Gorilla Position.
However, a fan online decided to screengrab the moment and share it on social media, calling it out for being “weird.”
For context, the photo shows IYO wrapping her legs around Triple H as he complimented her performance in the match. While some users criticized the RAW Superstar for how she hugged Triple H, others pointed out that she often hugs people similarly due to her short stature.
Triple H and IYO SKY’s interaction is polarizing
Several people, including Vince Russo, agreed that this was inappropriate behavior between a supervisor and talent.
“Disgusting engagement of a boss n employee!! So unprofessional no matter the joy this doesn’t look ok period cry me a river who don’t like my response,” @TheRealKalal wrote on Twitter/X.
However, many others feel that IYO and Triple H did nothing wrong, as she greets many people, including Rhea Ripley, the same way.
“She literally hugs everyone like that, it’s not weird,” one fan wrote on Twitter/X.
“It’d be weird if she only did it with the boss but she literally does it with everyone,” wrote another.

IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship this weekend. “RHIYO” will defend against Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
