Someone stole Jimmy Hart’s iconic megaphone.
WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart was a guest on the Wrestlecade convention this past Saturday. However, the appearance didn’t turn out as expected, as The Mouth of the South’s megaphone got stolen.
WrestleCade has announced on their official X/Twitter account that Jimmy Hart is not seeking to press charges and just wants the megaphone back. They also noted that the venue has HD cameras and that the police are moving forward with the investigation after reviewing the footage.
“Someone stole Jimmy Hart’s megaphone at the convention yesterday. The venue has HD cameras and police will review the footage tomorrow. Jimmy isn’t looking to press charges — he just wants it back. If you took it, DM us. 12/2, the police investigation moves forward.”
Jimmy Hart is one of the greatest pro wrestling managers of all time, and his trademark megaphone is very synonymous with his character. Hope the person who took it does the right thing and returns it to the Hall of Famer.
Jimmy Hart Said Hulk Hogan Was ‘Devastated’ Over Being Booed At WWE RAW
Jimmy Hart appeared alongside late WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan on WWE RAW’s debut episode on Netflix back in January. However, the appearance didn’t go as planned, as the fans erupted in loud boos throughout the segment.
Speaking on an episode of Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw, Jimmy Hart noted that Hulk Hogan was devastated by the fans’ reaction.
“We were going to Los Angeles now… I told Hulk, ‘Wow… blue state, red state. He had a Trump-Vance t-shirt on, which he did some pre-publicity, right? I’m going, ‘Oh my gosh, this is going to be good’… So we come flying into LA, baby… he’s got that Trump-Vance t-shirt on. We get out, man, we go, and all of a sudden I hear a few of the people like, ‘Booo.’ I’m going, ‘You know what, this doesn’t feel right.’ [Hulk said] ‘Jimmy, don’t worry about it.”
“But that devastated him. And we got in the back and he said, ‘What do you think happened?’ I said, ‘Hulk, it’s simple, blue state, red state. Boom.’ I said, ‘I mean really… I’m okay with it.’ He goes, ‘What do you think?’ I said, ‘I’m okay. I felt like I was managing the Hart Foundation against the British Bulldogs or the Killer Bees or somebody.’ So I didn’t, you know, I’m like, ‘Whoa, I’m waving that boy, they booed.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah!’” Jimmy Hart said.
