WWE decided to play some tricks on its more online fans, trolling people with the jumbotron set up for Survivor Series.
Ahead of Saturday’s show, a fan in San Diego began livestreaming WWE testing the jumbotron from their apartment. Fans were shocked that names like Edge, Steve Austin, and Jinder Mahal popped up. However, it turns out WWE knew what they were doing.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE figured out that a fan could see the testing and was livestreaming it. As a result, they decided to have some “fun” and see what would make its way online. As a result, the company purposely played some shocking intros. The results clearly worked, as fans were surprised at some of them. However, none of the stars shown are set to be at the show.
WWE Survivor Series is taking place now, at Petco Park in San Diego, California. The show’s fully updated card is as follows:
- Men’s WarGames Match: CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Usos vs. The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed), Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar
