Countdown to Bound For Glory Results:
TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles: The IInpsiration (c) vs. The Elegance Brand
- The finish of the match saw The IInspiration hit the Idolizer on their opponent. Cassie Lee scored the pinfall victory for her team.
Winners: And still TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, The IInspiration
Grade: B-
This match got very little time, but they did the best with the time they had. I’m not sure if it was a case of the Hall of Fame speeches going long or what, but it feels weird to dedicate this year’s Hall of Fame to the Knockouts and then follow that up with a Knockouts Tag Team title match that really felt rushed. At the end of the day, the right team won, so I suppose that’s all that really matters.
TNA Bound For Glory Results:
Bound For Glory kicks off with a video package hyping tonight’s show, narrated by the voice of the Boston Celtics, Sean Grande.
TNA International Championship: Frankie Kazarian (c) vs. Steve Maclin
- The finish of the match saw Steve Maclin hit Frankie Kazarian with KIA to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: And NEW TNA International Champion, Steve Maclin!
Grade: B
Fun opening contest. I honestly wasn’t sure why they took this title off Maclin to begin with. But if it was done just to give him a memorable moment at TNA’s biggest show of the year, I’m perfectly fine with that.
Does TrickNA end tonight?
Gabby LaSpisa is backstage with TNA World Champion Trick Williams and his lawyer. Williams says there won’t be any cheating tonight, and if someone tries to pull something, he’ll use his lawyer against them. Williams says all Mike Santana has is a good story, but he is best for business.
Gia Miller (w/ Jody Threat) vs. Tessa Blanchard (w/ Victoria Crawford)
- Victoria Crawford is ejected early for openly cheating in front of the referee. Jody Threat had to chase her out, getting rid of the people at ringside. The finish of the match saw Tessa Blanchard hit Gia Miller with a roll of quarters to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Tessa Blanchard
Grade: C+
Gia Miller doesn’t do a ton of in-ring wrestling, but I think she did the best she could, given the match that was laid out tonight. There was really only one misfire in the match. Honestly, the match was better than it had any right to be. I would like to see Miller continue to work on her in-ring skills and see where that takes her respective career.

Nic Nemeth vs. Frankie Kazarian
- The finish saw two referees count both men down in a double pin.
Winners: Nic Nemeth and Frankie Kazarian
Grade: B
The crowd chanted bullshit at this finish, and I 100% agree. This match was a ton of fun. I’m a sucker for an enjoyable Royal Rumble-style format match. However, this finish freaking sucked, and the crowd made their feelings known about how terrible this finish was. Before the final two, I thought this match would get somewhere in the A grade. However, that finish ruined any hope of that, and they are lucky I’m not taking it down even further, but I won’t because the match itself was too enjoyable. I will end this with a simple plea to TNA: stop doing stupid stuff like this!
TNA Knockouts World Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Indi Hartwell
- The finish of the match saw Kelani Jordan hit Indi Hartwell with the One of a Kind split-legged moonsault to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: And still TNA Knockouts Champion, Kelani Jordan
Grade: B-
The match was okay. I don’t feel like at any point it got out of first gear. Maybe if it had gotten more time, it could have turned into something better, but it was just an average match.
Will someone call their shot tonight?
The Nemeth brothers and Frankie Kazarian are backstage bickering about the Call Your Shot Trophy. Nic Nemeth says he’s not going to listen to someone who’s never been a World Champion. Kazarian teases he might cash in on the TNA World Championship later tonight.
Hardcore War: The System vs. Order Four
Order of entrants:
- Jason Hotch
- Eddie Edwards
- John Skyler
- JDC
- Tasha Steelz
- Alisha Edwards
- Special Agent Zero
- Brian Myers
- Mustafa Ali
- Moose
The finish of the match saw Eddie Edwards hit Mustafa Ali with a barbed wire Boston Knee Party to score the pinfall victory for his team.
Winners: The System
Grade: B+
This was a fun hardcore match. I think my major problem with this particular match, as a longtime TNA viewer, I didn’t feel like I had anyone to cheer for. The System was the bane of my existence for years, and there is nothing redeemable about Order Four. The right team went over due to Eddie Edwards’ ties to Boston. I believe the best match of the show is coming up next.
TNA X-Division Championship: Leon Slater (c) vs. Je’Von Evans
- The original finish of the match ended in a time limit draw. The crowd is MAD! Santino Marella comes out and gives the match five more minutes. A minute or two into that DarkState comes in and takes out both men, and the crowd hates it EVEN MORE!
Winner: No contest
Grade: B-
I came into this match wanting to love it. For the most part, it was delivering. Then the time limit draw happened, something that NEVER occurs in TNA and makes the crowd angry. And then they restart the match to make people think they are gonna get a finish and send out freaking DarkState instead to ruin the match. This was just awful!
I can’t even begin to tell you how annoyed I am at this company right now. With an actual finish, this COULD have been an A- to an A. But instead, I need to drop it down an entire letter grade due to the absolute creative stupidity this company has pulled this evening. On your biggest show of the year? Are you freaking kidding me?!
A North American TNA attendance record
Chris Bey comes out and announces that TNA broke a North American attendance record this evening with 7,794 fans. But I’ll tell you this right now, if they keep pulling stunts like they have tonight, they’re never going to break this record again.
Fans are tired of having their intelligence insulted. You can only do it so many times before they walk away for good. I know TNA won’t listen to a word that I’m saying, but it has to be said. Treat your fans with respect and they’ll give it right back.
Tables Match for the TNA and NXT Tag Team Titles: The Hardys (c) vs. Team 3D (w/ Spike Dudley)
- The finish of the match saw Matt and Jeff Hardy put Bully Ray through a table to pick up the victory.
Winners: And still TNA and WWE NXT Tag Team Champions, The Hardys
After the match, all four men hug, symbolizing the end of an era of tag team wrestling. The crowd chants, “Thank you, Dudleys!” Bully Ray and D-Von both take their boots off and leave them in the ring, letting everyone know that this was their last match. The four men hug it out once again.
Grade: C+
I’m sorry. This wasn’t good. A majority of the match felt like it was in slow motion. It’s very clear that Team 3D’s best days are very much behind them. However, I must say that I give major credit to D-Von for even doing this match after such a serious health scare.
The decision for Team 3D to leave their boots in the ring and ride off into the sunset was the right call. I’m sure the nostalgia of the match was enough for some people, but after that X-Division Title finish? Not for me.
TNA World Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Mike Santana (w/ Konnan)
- The finish of the match saw Mike Santana hit Trick Williams with Spin the Block to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: And NEW TNA World Champion, Mike Santana!
Grade: B+
After the match, Nic Nemeth tried to call his shot but was stopped by a returning Elijah, who knocked him out with a guitar. Frankie Kazarian tries to convince the referee to let him call his shot, but he doesn’t have the trophy. Santana hits Kazarian with Spin the Block and celebrates in the ring with his daughter as TNA Bound For Glory goes off the air.
TNA Bound For Glory Review:
This is supposed to be TNA’s WrestleMania. Tonight felt like anything but. Some of these creative choices on tonight’s show made me want to slam my head into a wall. I just don’t understand how this company can’t get out of its own way. This show could have easily been a slam dunk show for the company, but they wanted to get cute again, and all anyone will be talking about tomorrow is all of the stupid decisions this company made tonight.
As enjoyable as the main event was, it’s something that should have happened months ago at Slammiversary. I hope more people will be talking about Santana’s big win tomorrow than anything else, but the down points of this show were so glaring that I don’t see it happening.
Quite frankly, I want to give the show a lower grade than I am, but the main event delivered. There were some good moments on tonight’s show that I don’t want to overlook just because the TNA creative team can’t take their heads out of their asses. I’m keeping this show in the B grade simply for the effort the roster gave tonight to perform despite the current creative regime holding them back.
I truly hope this company can find its creative footing in 2026, but what I saw tonight doesn’t leave me with a ton of hope. The brand will continue to do well despite itself due to its partnership with WWE, but they have the potential to be so much more.
Grade: B-
