Mike Tyson isn’t impressed with his opponent Jake Paul’s ability as a fighter, viewing him as “Inferior” with his ability inside the ring.
The former Disney actor Jake took up boxing four years ago to make side money, and he’s been learning on the job since. He’s mostly been beating non-boxers who were long in the tooth. For example, Paul has recent wins over 39-year-old Nate Diaz and 47-year-old Anderson Silva, both ex-MMA guys.
You can’t blame Tyson for viewing Paul as a low-level fighter because he’s not shown enough confidence to face real fighters until now. Even then, Jake has chosen a fighter retired for 19 years, nearing 60.
Mike Tyson, 58, will be Jake’s first true boxer he’s fought, and there is a lot of interest from people to see how he does against someone with his ability.

“As a fighter, he’s inferior. It only matters what happens in the ring. He can say what he wants,” said Mike Tyson to BBC Sport about Jake Paul’s fighting ability. “In the ring is where the party begins. We’re going to find out if he can party with the big boys.
“Smashing,” said Tyson when asked how the fight with Jake ends. “I think Jake is in a lot of trouble,” said Mike about how the fight with Paul would end.
Doctored Video Clips?
Tyson does have plenty of doubters who are skeptical about his ability to defeat even a sub-level fighter like Jake Paul. They point out that they haven’t seen Tyson throw steady combinations without the need for a rest break. In other words, Tyson’s pad work has been short video clips lasting a few seconds without showing him continuing to train.
Fans believe the 58-year-old former heavyweight champion Tyson only has two or three rounds in him before he gasses out, and is stopped or quits against Jake. They think the years of smoking marijuana and living a soft life will hurt Tyson’s cardio, limiting him in the fight to two or three hard rounds.
The detractors may have a point because Tyson is breathing hard even during normal conversation. You can see his chest rising and falling at rest without movements, which obviously isn’t a good sign going into this fight. Boxing is a cardio sport, and one needs to be well-conditioned to win. The
