Leinster Rugby | ‘Give It a Try’ helps Navan grow girls’ section

After the season was lower transient closing 12 months, it gave the Navan RFC girls’ minis coaches time to ponder methods to develop the group for 2020/21.

Their first instructing session in September had eight girls in full for the U-10 and U-12 age teams.

John Molloy helped kickstart a mannequin new wave of the ladies rugby all by the membership, with six weeks of the ‘Give It a Try’ programme. This began rising numbers, seeing new children arrive to the membership.
