Denmark’s Joachim B. Hansen edged out South Africa’s Wilco Nienaber to win his maiden European Tour title on the Joburg Open on Sunday.
Hansen carded a powerful bogey-free spherical to seal the title by two footage at Randpark Golf Membership.
The 30-year-old fired a Four-under 67 last spherical to complete on 19-under for the event and declare his maiden European Tour trophy in 146 appearances.
“It is fairly emotional. That is what we work for, you already know?” Hansen acknowledged following his victory.
“Wilco obtained in entrance fairly fast, by three footage, and we managed to stay to our recreation and our plan.”
