Gunman shoots, wounds two St. Louis police officers responding to call; one officer critical | Law and order

ST. LOUIS — Two St. Louis regulation enforcement officers responding to a taking pictures title have been shot themselves Saturday by a gunman who then barricaded himself in a house all by the Tower Grove South neighborhood, police talked about.

Quite a few streets have been closed to automobiles and pedestrians. Residents on Hartford have been being warned to shelter inside, and SWAT officers swarmed the neighborhood. Police furthermore put SUVs and officers armed with rifles all by the suspect residence.

Hayden talked concerning the 2 officers have been searching for a sufferer of the taking pictures cited all by the title to police when the gunman fired on them. As of eight p.m., police have been negotiating with the gunman to get him to return out of the home.

Matt Miller, who lives shut by on Hartford, talked about he was merely sitting down for supper about 5:45 when he seen a variety of police SUVs driving up the freeway.
