Middle-back Mamadou Sakho signed with French membership Montpellier on Tuesday after taking part in eight seasons within the Premier League.
The 31-year-old Sakho performed in 75 video games for Crystal Palace after becoming a member of from Liverpool in January 2017. He was injured for many of final season and his contract with the London membership had expired.
The transfer marks a return to the French prime flight for the previous France worldwide, who started his skilled profession with Paris Saint-Germain at age 17.
“I am very completely satisfied to come back again to France with an excellent venture like this one in Montpellier,” he stated in a group assertion, which didn’t specify the size of the contract.

Montpellier completed eighth in Ligue 1 final season. Sakho performed 201 video games for PSG and was named the nation’s younger participant of the 12 months after the 2010-11 season.
He made his worldwide debut in 2010 and performed within the 2014 World Cup.
