Becky Lynch is officially back—and she’s not easing into anything.
After nearly a year away from the ring, Lynch returned in a big way at WrestleMania 41, teaming with Lyra Valkyria to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. But during the post-show press conference, one question stood out: would this return be on a part-time basis?
“Yeah, The Man don’t do part-time,” Lynch said with zero hesitation. “When I go, I go hard. I go hard until I can’t go no more, or until I take another break.” Lynch made it clear she’s not here to coast. She’s either all in, or she’s out—and right now, she’s all the way in.
When asked what made now the right time to come back, Becky gave a kayfabe-friendly answer that also nodded to her real-life role as a wife and mom. “It’s WrestleMania, isn’t it? Lyra needed a partner. Bayley, unfortunately got taken out, we all saw that. I was already here, watching my husband [Seth Rollins] main event in a hell of a match,” she said with pride.
As for her time away, Becky made it clear she doesn’t regret a thing. “It was amazing. I wouldn’t give it back for the world,” she told Stephanie Hypes of Bodyslam.net. “Getting to get [Roux] into activities and into school and having a routine. It’s been the best and the most important thing I’m ever going to do. I love my family more than anything. The thing that I love next to that is wrestling.”
With gold back around her waist and Lyra Valkyria riding high as a double champ, Lynch is ready to elevate WWE’s women’s division once again—full-time.
