Two years have elapsed since the Lindsays Cross Country Season last headed to Dunniker Country Park in Kirkcaldy.
But the atmosphere will no doubt be exactly the same on Saturday for another eagerly-awaited Lindsays Short Course XC.
The parklands course close to Kirkcaldy High School will be well-known to many as a venue for Primary School XC Champs and, in more recent years, this event in alternate years with Lanark with three visits since 2017.
We are thrilled to have more than 1300 names on the start lists with national championship medals up for grabs over six races featuring U15 and U17 athletes and then 4k races for Junior/Senior/Masters athletes.
That is a superb response once again to #LindsaysXC and the growth in this event is exemplified by the fact that both Senior races now have roughly 100 more athletes entered than they did at Kirkcaldy back in 2017.
We say thanks in advance to clubs and coaches for that superb commitment to competition and of course to Kirkcaldy High School, Fife Council, Fife AC and all our volunteers and Officials who will make the event happen.
Those planning to race or attend are advised to read the event information on our Event Section page (see link above) before heading to Kirkcaldy.

*Kirkcaldy marks the start of the Cross Country Grand Prix for Senior individual athletes. This is raced over four events and athletes will share £4000 once it concludes next spring.
*Scotland vest selections are imminent for the British Cross Challenge event in Liverpool on November 23.
*The Lindsays Trophy league tables are on-going following Cumbernauld with the Short Course XC the second round in our competition around participation. (More details in due course).
